None of our waiting lists are currently accepting online only pre-applications. You can register to receive email notifications when any of our waiting lists will open for the online only pre-application process by clicking here, or by navigating to our ABOUT/CONTACT US page and scrolling down to the Subscribe section located just above the maps.
The current directive from HUD to pause the issuance of new Housing Choice Vouchers is, unfortunately, still in effect. We will announce when voucher issuance resumes.
Applicants on any of our wait lists can call (719) 387-6700 and dial 1 to hear their ranking at any time.
If you recently applied for our Public Housing 1-bedroom elderly and/or disabled or our Public Housing 2-bedroom waiting lists, your ranking on the waiting list(s) you applied for have been updated on your WaitListCheck account. Please allow until at least April 16, 2026, for your ranking to be updated on our automated phone system.
Applicants who applied for any of our wait lists through WaitListCheck (WLC) can check their ranking on those wait lists through their WLC account. There will be a list of applications submitted via WLC available when logging in. If the Status of the application reads “Submitted”, you were not placed on that specific wait list and will have to apply when it opens again for applications. If the Status reads “Active”, you should see a Position field a little below that which has your current ranking.
