Exempt
Direct, manage and coordinate the operational functions of the Housing Authority to include coordination of assigned activities with internal departments and outside agencies; and to provide highly responsible and complex administrative support to the Executive Director.
Exempt
Organizes, monitors and supervises Housing Authority Maintenance Operations; performs a variety of technical tasks relative to facility maintenance; provides technical assistance to the Deputy Director and the Executive Director.


Non-Exempt
Assist in the supervision and coordination of skilled/unskilled maintenance and repair activities and operations within assigned department; to coordinate assigned activities with other departments and the general public; and to provide highly responsible and complex staff assistance to higher level supervisor and management staff.

Performs a wide variety of professional analytical and administrative duties in support of the maintenance and contract services department; to provide a variety of analyses, studies and research project as requested by management, and participate in administrative and financial processes.

Performs a wide variety of professional, analytical and administrative duties in support of the maintenance department field work; coordinating and supervising the purchasing of materials and equipment needed to enable a smooth operation.

Coordinates resident involvement (to include public speaking) and cooperation in the implementation of health and safety procedures as it relates to pest control management. Coordinates pest control management systems including contractor procurement and scheduling, tenant notifications, monitoring and tracking. Oversees key program for organization.

Performs a variety of skilled maintenance and repairs in support of assigned programs. A Senior Technician may be responsible for the larger and more challenging properties of the Housing Authority requiring increased judgment and discretion. Personnel in this position will be required to lead, assign, review and participate in the work of staff responsible for performing semi-skilled maintenance and repair services and activities; to ensure work quality and adherence to established policies and procedures; and to perform the more technical and complex tasks relative to assigned area of responsibility. Maintain certifications and licensures in critical areas; HVAC, Boilers, Plumbing, Electrical, and other related fields.

Performs a variety of skilled/semi-skilled maintenance and repair duties in support of assigned CSHA systems and properties and to provide support to entry level, senior and supervisory staff.

This is a full-time role for Maintenance Tech I (tasks are 70% janitorial & 30% repair work). Employees hired at this level will receive regular instruction and guidance for new or unusual tasks to gain an understanding of how to complete tasks according to the procedures and policies of HUD, NSPIRE, and CSHA.

Oversees and participates in the activities and services of Public Housing properties, Managed Properties, Project based properties, or other related programs; verify application data and research; to determine program eligibility; to serve as a landlord or property manager for assigned housing units; and to provide highly responsible and complex administrative support to higher level management staff.

Housing Specialist Assistant will conduct comprehensive reviews and research applicant, participant, tenant files to ensure eligibility and compliance. Conduct meetings to ensure policies are being applied and followed. Review and verify interim and intake reexamination packets. Coordinate activities in housing programs; interview applicants and participants; determine eligibility; explain program requirements. Issue warnings or notices of intent to terminate or deny housing assistance as deemed appropriate.

Performs a variety of highly responsible and complex secretarial, administrative and/or clerical accounting duties in support of assigned department, division, or program; to coordinate and participate in office support functions in support of the goals and objectives of the area of assignment; and to provide information and assistance to the public regarding Housing Authority policies and procedures. To support the members of the management team in various administrative areas.
