WaitList Check

If you filled out your initial application online, please use the same username and password you created at that time. If you do not remember your login information, please use the “Forgot Username” and “Forgot Password” links on the Waitlist Check website to recover your account. The Housing Authority is not able to recover or reset your login information for you.

IMPORTANT: If you did not provide a valid SSN and date of birth with your application, you will not be able to check your status online. If you have lost access to your Waitlist Check account, your wait list status is not affected. 

You can call (719) 387-6700 and press 1 to hear your ranking on any wait list(s) you are on at any time. If you recently applied, please allow at least one week after submitting your online pre-application to allow us to update our systems with your ranking information.

It is very important that the Housing Authority has your current mailing address. Failure to respond to written correspondence may result in your removal from any waiting lists you are on. You must notify the Housing Authority of any changes to your contact information by submitting an Application Update Form for the specific wait list you are on. Requirements

  1. Must submit to a full background check.
  2. Unit must pass initial and annual inspections.
  3. Must provide all required documentation in a timely manner.
  4. Report all changes to income or family composition within 10 business days of the change.
  5. Meet all other program-specific requirements.

When Wait Lists Open

Our only wait list that opens on a regular basis is our Annual HCV/Section 8 Lottery wait list which usually opens every July. All other wait lists open as necessary.
